LHFHG Unit 21 Weekly Wrap-Up

I just LOVE our curriculum!  Not only is Shana flourishing related to her handwriting, math, and reading, but we are loving learning about history since Bible times.  This week we have been learning about a lot of explorers such as Christopher Columbus and Vasco Nunez de Balboa.  It has meant a mini-geography lesson, interspersed with lots of fun reading and science discoveries.

Shana enjoyed most making a piece of land, sailing a make-believe boat, and crossing that boat over a canal placed over the land, representing an isthmus.

Here is a picture of her from last week, showing the lessons that King Charles (Unit 20, Day 4) taught his schoolboys about the importance of being diligent.  It's one reason I love our curriculum.  Learning diligence as a 6 year old is a great start to life!

Here is another picture of her with a great snapshot of her God-given personality.  Enjoy!  :D

I'm on a roll!!!

Here's a picture of Shana and Mommy from Shana's first birthday...
She's already a year old!!! I can't believe my baby is so big. So much fun, and everyday she is doing more stuff. Today she said "ma-na-na" about a banana.
Enjoy!
