So sorry, ladies...no pictures this week! Even after snapping some pictures this week (although not of school ;), I can't find the camera and Kevin is at work...oh well! Maybe NEXT week.
Actually, we will endeavor to take the week off because we have VBS. Our erratic summer plans begin! After that, Girlie will participate in farm camp. What a treat homeschooling provides!!!
We loved learning about Jacob and Esau, from how Jacob tricked his father and hurt his brother, to them reconciling. What great Biblical truth.
The kids LOVED wrestling with the balloon, and learning that, even though Jacob cheated his brother out of their father's blessing, his brother (and thus, God) had mercy on him and forgave him for the wrong he did. We also got to talk about the abundance present. Jacob brought present after present to Esau, and though he didn't need to, God provided the retribution necessary for Jacob to give to Esau.
I love that LHTH is bringing this up.
