Weekly Heart of Dakota Check-In: We Started Homeschooling with "B!"

Girlie doesn't let moss grow under her feet.  Though we finished school Thursday, Saturday morning she was begging for "home school!"  So, we pulled out LHTH Unit 2 and had SO much fun doing the finger-play "B-B-B" and low-crawling, trotting, slithering, hopping, skipping, etc. like the animals loading the Ark.

And I thought Girlie would not like the finger-play, but she DID!  Enough for us to do it for Unit 2 Days 3 and 4.

Following is our "B" art.  I asked Girlie to make a "B" with her watercolors, and add pictures of items that begin with "B."  Though you can't see it, she made a ball, basket, bear, and butterfly.  Even Boy-O got in on the action by doing some art himself.  His picture is on the orange paper.  For 2, he is keeping right up!
